Week 1

Well, I'm gonna do it so I hope a certain indinvidual out there in blogland will do it too.

Every week I am gonna talk about something I have never done before, something that is new to me. This year is about living and trying new things no matter how small.

Week 1, me and my sister went around job agencies. It was snowing all day long but we didn't let that put us off.

The first agency was situated next door to pizza hut and while being dragged through the door by my sis, I looked longingly at the place where I would rather be.

They were very nice to me and I have an appointment to go back and sign on properly next week. These are the people that found my sister her new job and I know they are nice people.

We went round a few more but if you are not interested in admin, there's not much out there.

I'm quite interested in working as a classroom assistant and in one agency they gave me their head branch number as they have those positions. I am going to ring them tomorrow.

I made an appointment for another agency but I may cancel that one as I felt quite bullied into that one and they only had admin anyway.

I left some CV's at places.

The ball is rolling.

Good for you MissT!

This all sounds really fresh and exciting.

It's all about the little steps getting us to where we want to be. Sometimes we go a bit off the path, sometimes a few steps back, but our journey continues.

I'm adoring that you have your sister supporting you.

Love

oh no! you got a head start on me! i'd better hurry up or you'll win!

;)

i really like the idea of writing each week about something you achieved over that week. it's an exciting idea! if you start running out of ideas, i bet all of us in blogbelieve would be willing to suggest "interesting" new things for you to try.

*innocent grin*

anyway, i originally came over to say thank you for your comment on my blog. i remember when you told us about the ladybugs -- it gave me shivers because i completely believe that we get messages like that.

it's nice to get little reminders that although they're gone, they're not gone, if you know what i mean.

i hope one of these jobs turns out to be just the right one for you!

Oooh oooh, I'm a certain individual!
*gets distracted by the rolling ball*
Have I ever lied to you? I haven't started yet because I was drawing up plans for our chain of specialty shops. I will add my own either tonight or tomorrow. I thank you for giving me a reason to "live." ; )

MissT! MissT!

I'm lost in the UK. Please find me before someone mistakes me for Amy Whinohouse!

Did I mention I am wearing only a bra and blue jeans?

misst,

Great idea about the weekly, "tell all". I am excited to see what you do. You are always so funny, in the way you explain things.

Good luck, with the(classroom assistant)job search. Sounds good!

Visit me, to release your blessings or curses, if you like.

Where did AIP go...?

MissT! This is such a great idea! I might have to follow your example here.....How does BUNGEE JUMPING sound???? Nah, I think I'll just go to Pizza Hut and discuss the possible dangers of bungee jumping with my niece and nephew. :))

"I'm quite interested in working as a classroom assistant"

Ohhhh, both of my grandparents (my mother's parents) were teachers/principals. When I was in grade school, I wanted to be a teacher as well.....
But, as often times happens, I was distracted by life......

I did work as a secretary/accountant at a post secondary school for 8 years! Well, at least I was involved in education in some small way, for a brief period of time. :)

The best of luck to you MissT! I shall be cheering you on!!!!

Oh, and I believe I read that you have a myspace. If you would like to add me:

^^t'is I^^

Love to and hugs for you,

Hey MissT!

I'm really loving this idea! Your so right about achieving something new, and you've really opened my eyes to doing exactly the same. The start of the new year just hasn't felt right for me and I havn't honestly been looking forward for what's to come. So thank you for reminding me what life is about - an adventure. And I'm really hoping yours is a pleasurable one.

My wrist is so much better, thanks for asking. It had a really quick recovery and everyone was really shocked to see it so healed. It's back to perfect conditions now, and luckily it was in time for chirstmas too. Although, I keep being told to be careful, because even though it's completely fine now, I've been learning to play the guitar and I keep getting really bad cramps in my wrist ect, just like any beginner would. But because I've just come out of treatment, it wouldn't be wise of me to over do it. But everything seems fine at the moment.

Lots of love, Jade xx
Good luck with job hunting!
