Week 45

Yayness, I'm actually feeling better. It's only been two bloody weeks with flu, bluergh!

Yayness for Spurs, I love you Harry Redknapp.

Boo to Lewis, you didn't deserve to win. Poor Massa was robbed.

Yayness to getting a phone call to say that my request for funds to do the teaching course has been OK'd. It'll prob not be till early nest year when I get to do it but at least the ball is in motion.

LOL TS, I felt like an extra from dawn of the dead.

I am back in the land of the living now though.

Cough, splutter, she says!

Thankees for the chicken soup ^_^

I am feeling much better now. Luckily, it was only a headache, not a flu or anything like that. Prolonged rest & a dose or two of Neo Citrin (taken with gin, my boss recommends) usually does the trick.

Glad to hear you're feeling better :) I've missed seeing you around, and anytime I have pizza I think fondly of you!

I was supposed to get a call from the job earlier tonight, but they never did, so it could mean I didn't get the job :/

Thanks for checking up on me Miss T.

I had to go to the hospital earlier for some x-rays, so I'm looking after myself for a while.

I hope you're well?

Hiya Miss T!

I'm a little bit more clear on which guy to date. The pharmacist is now completely out of the question. The boy? Who knows. I think the best that situation has to offer is friends with benefits, which could be nice, but in the long term, it's not what I'm looking for. So I guess we'll see what happens.

My main concerns with anti-depressants are that they make me feel like I'm not myself, and for the first several weeks, they change my sleeping and eating patterns which makes me pretty dysfunctional during the day. I can't afford to be dysfunctional at work right now.

But I do know that anti-depressants can be very helpful under the right circumstances. They have helped me in the past when I've suffered from depression/anxiety. If that was the case now, I would be more likely to take them and not argue with my doctor about it. I'm just concerned because what I'm experiencing now is so different from anything I've experienced in the past. It seems weird to get the same treatment for something that feels so different. Know what I mean?

But the more I think about it, the more my doctor's advice makes sense to me. I think it was hard for me to accept at first because it wasn't what I was expecting to hear. Either way, I will still see a specialist for a second opinion.

Anyway, thanks for your comment, I always appreciate your input. I hope you're doing well this week.
