May

I'm such an idiot. I've had a gym accident which has put my last week and half of training out the window. I was there on Friday and I was on the treadmill. I was listening to my MP3 and merrily jogging along nicely. Then suddenly my MP3 was ripped away from me. I still don't know what happened. I didn't catch it on anything and it was firmly in place. It was ripped away with such force and it is a mystery what happened. Anyway, I was like WTF! and in the second it took me to whip my head round to see what had happened, I went flying. I was dragged along on the treadmill and it took all the skin off my wrist and a huge chunk is missing from my thigh. I'm in so much pain, it is like a super serious burn. I look like I've been attacked my a shark. I am bruised all over, my elbow is cut bad but healing fast luckily. I am in my pj's most of the time cos I can't really walk. It's very bad.

Anyway, If it doesn't look like I'm gonna be able to do the fitness test, I'll have to get a Dr's note. I'm sure they will let me postpone it. If only it would start to scab it'd be better. It's just an open weeping wound and I don't really know what to do for the best.

So, that's my woes.

I'm sorry you have gym boo-boos! I hope you heal quickly, I've heard that chunky Kit Kats accelerate the process. :)

LOL carrie, you'll have to send them all back hahahaha!

I keep trying to convince mum that I should have pizza every day cos it has amazing skin regenerative powers but she ain't buying it hahaha!

Told ya exercising was bad for you!

Besides your physical woes, how's the MP3? What happened to it?

Most importantly, what song were you jogging to before you were so cruelly stopped?

LOL Jenn, I am scraped to hell but MP3 is great.

Song was Fall out boy, I don't care.

But I do care *sob* I care about my poor wrist and thigh. I guess that treadmill gave me something to care about *sob*

Youch! At least you didn't have a Pink moment, a la Stupid Girls, and lose your shorts!

Er.

Right? O_o

Hope you scab up and heal fast, sweetie. =)

LOL PP sweetie. Thank goodness I didn't. It was embarrasing and painful enough as it is.

My boy had an incident with a treadmill when he was about 4. I'm not exactly sure what happened.

All I know is that when I turned my head to see what he was doing, he went flying off the back.

Got a pretty good bloodied and fat lip from it too.

Aw poor thing Jenn. I can totally sympathise with him. Those things should be banned. We should start an internet campaign hahahah!

It was hard to not laugh. Especially when he was crying and bloody.

Hey, maybe the treadmill incident is the reason why he's so adverse to exercizing. Hmmmm.

Jennicula said...

Wait. That didn't come out right.

I started to laugh until I saw the tears and the blood. Then it wasn't so funny.

ok, much better.

For a moment I sounded like one cruel bitch.

Wishing you a happy Saturday and a speedy (but not flying through the air off a treadmill kind of speedy) recovery!

I'm still asking (out loud) "what the hell? how did she manage that one?"

And "too damn bad it wasn't on videotape so we could youtube it!"

I'm thinking you could get a least a million hits! What do you think?

Thanks BC sweetie. xxxxx

LOL Jenn, I'm not surprised. I swear, if I get in, I will be the laziest police officer ever. Exercise is evil.

I knew what you meant sweetie. Or do you have a cruel laugh at blood and tears streak? Nah, not you sweetie.

LOL solly, I'm still wondering how I did it. Maybe I was tryig to do my best superman impression. If we'd got it on tape I'd have sent it in to "you've been framed" for the £250. Such a shame hahahaha!

Christ! And I just got wind of this today!

If you can find it, start putting Tea Tree Oil on your scabs, they'll heal up and dry out faster, and it really helps with infection. I keep it in the house at all times, Mister's even got a bottle of it in his kit for when he goes camping, in case he gets hurt.

Get better, own that treadmill and beat that Police Exam senseless!
