Still no news from the police, but I've not heard a no either. I'm sure one of the people I did the test first time with said he had to wait 6 weeks before he heard anything so I'm not worrying to much yet.
So, Rats!
The rat catcher couldn't see the bodies in the corner we suspected them. He said he'd known people rip all their kitchens out and still not found the bodies so it wasn't worth it.
As the smell is going and we've been lucky enough to have no flies, we are just leaving it. He put some more poison down as they'd had all the rest and he's coming back this Friday. If nothing is touched, we know they've all died and we've got no others.
Oh what fun and games.

I'm glad the smell is fading. Nothing like your home smelling like old death. Even chocolate or bacon can't hide the stench.
Maybe no news is good news on the police? That's how I'm going to work with it.
As for the cake and shark boy - Cake was yummy, but I like most of 'em anyway. I'm not too picky about cake.
Shark boy - he's a slime. Not too many people have seen through his charade, but when he calls you "Sweetie" and then looks down your blouse, you just know he's bad. And will throw you in front of the bus when the shit hits the fan.

No doubt when you call me "Sweetie" you are above board. I'll continue to smile when you call me that and not get that creepy feeling when he does it.
The girl I work with is just so young. I watch her make these terrible decisions. I understand why she does what she does. You're right, she's been abandoned by all her family and doesn't want to be alone.
I'm thinking she'll be pregnant in the next 6 months. Her boyfriend is the best one she's had so far and he's a tool.
Jenn, she's bound to get pregnant because people like her think that a baby will give them the unconditional love no one else did.
It's a matter of when and not if I feel.
She was complaining that she felt nauseous for a few days.
Boy was I glad she got her monthly bill the other day.
Each month I wait for her announcement. It would be such a bad decision, but I see that you're right. Not if but when.
It's sad Jenn, but there are people like her all over the place and it's always the same story.
