My god I can't tell you how many xmas goodies I got. I'll be eating them till this time next year.
I was a bad girl and ate a whole box of violet chocolates last night.
Just needed to get that off my chest hahah!

Please explain to this American what violet chocolates are.
It sounds very tasty.
They are like a soft centered chocolate that tastes like palma violets. An aquired taste. Mum and sis didn't like theirs so I scoffed the lot hahahah!
I LOOOOOOVE violet candies. Although I ate a violet gum and it was pretty gross.

I'm with you on that whole "No smoking" thing. I've got to quit. But then again, sometimes it's better for me to grab a smoke than to beat someone to a pulp. :)

The New Year hasn't been too bad. We got almost 2 feet of snow a couple weeks ago and it's finally melted but a new storm is on it's way for Friday. I hear that it's supposed to be a really cold and snowy winter this year.
I believe it. I'm freezing my bits off already and it's not even the "deep winter" yet.
Wow, this snow is everywhere right now. Apparently even China and India have got it bad.

Weird question: Just went back to school for religious studies.
I'm actually looking at different universities in the UK if I get a chance to study abroad. (I just dream of looking at old dusty British tomes on mysticism and whatnot!)
I know your major isn't exactly in the same vein, but did you like the school you graduated from?

As to your question, I went to Liverpool University and I absolutely every minute. The city, the people, the university itself, the history, the beatles stuff everywhere you look, all of it.
If you want to study in a beautiul city, I would also mention York, Chester, Oxford, Cambridge.
You lucky thing.
