I decorated the house.
And the tree.
I made chocolate chip, oatmeal, snickerdoodles, chocolate/walnut, sugar, pinwheels, and cranberry/pecan cookies.
And I'm tired.
:)
LOL Jenn sweetie, I'm not surprised.
I took on an advisary role this year. I've done the tree the last 5years so I told mum it was her turn. I kept looking up saying "yeah, looks good". I did take over for the hard parts though hahahaha!
Any of those cookies going spare by any chance?
If I get my magic bacon dispenser, I'll make sure to have one sent to you too!
[leaves a plate of yummy cookies]
There's always plenty of cookies for friends.
I basically threw lights at the tree and said, "Looks good to me."
I finally got a picture taken of the garish home across the street from me. I just have to post the pcis.
Ooooooo can't wait for the bacon dispenser.
In the meantime these cookies are gorgeous, thanks sweetie.
I can't wait to see that piccie. Just so that we can all go "tut, look at that, I'm glad we're not like that".
It's great to feel superior hahah!
The last I read, you were expecting snow.
Did you get any?
We got 2 feet. It was beautiful.
I got the boy to shovel it because there was so much and I watched and ate cookies.
I did reward him with bacon though.
But not by my bacon dispenser. Santa hasn't brought me one yet. :)
LOL Jenn, you sat and watched him work while munching.
*looks sad cos Jenn ain't got no bacon dispenser yet*
Yeah, we got loads of snow. It's that lovely deep crunchy stuff. I hope we get some more actually. I actually looked out of the window the other morning and it was all prefect everywhere. Then later some people walked up our road and I was fuming cos they'd tainted it with their footprints hahahah!
Oh Miss T I feel such a plonker for my stupid outburst over at Mayo's. What was I thinking? These past few days have been difficult but we'll get through it.
I've always relied too much on my sisters especially the one with cancer. I've always hung around with her and her friends and never really made any of my own. I just needed someone to talk to you know and didn't want to bother my family. They've got enough problems without listening to me. Two of my cousins have been diagnosed with cancer. One has two small girls and the other two teenage boys. It's absolutely tragic. They haven't told the children yet. Not before xmas. They'll tell them in the new year.
I though you'd like to know that my sister's so much better these days. Only two more radiotherapy sessions to go. All this travelling daily to the hospital is wearing us out though, especially with xmas and all. In fact she's feeling so much better that she's offered to help me with xmas dinner. Well hallelujah!! She's the best cook and I'm the best washer uperer in town. If washing up was an Olympic sport I'd win the gold medal. No doubt about it!! You see I'm good at something. haha.
Well I'll never go near the computer again when I'm upset. God knows what I'll write next time!!!
If I don't get a chance to pop in again before xmas I'd like to take this oppportunity to wish you and your family the best xmas ever Miss T. You're an absolute Star.
Nadolig Llawen a Blwyddyn Newydd dda.
For Miss. T's mam
Wombling merry Christmas
Open your eyes, look to the skies when you’re lonely,
There will be stars shining for you.
Sleepers awake, it’s getting late, snow is falling.
The whole wide world is wombling too.
Refrain:
All day long we will be wombling in the snow,
We wish you a Wombling Merry Christmas.
All day long we will be laughing as we go.
We wish you a Wombling Merry Christmas.
Under the ground there is the sound of a symphony.
The lights are low, the fire is bright.
Wombling through, I’ll tune into you, you tune into me.
We’ll send a message into the night.
Nadolig Llawen. Ho ho ho.
MissT: Yes, I watched him work while I munched on cookies. I don't even feel bad about it.
I think I'm supposed to, but I don't.
My front yard is still pristine. Not a sloppy footprint in it yet. I'm glad. I hate when the snow gets all slopped up by people.
Welshy: Just take care of your family and try to enjoy the holidays.
I forgot to thank you for your support at Mayos the other day.
Thank you!
