SNOW SNOW AND SNOW

I feel as though I can't remember what the world looks like when it's not all white.

Did you get more snow again?

I nearly killed myself in the driveway this morning. We only had a dusting of snow, but apparently my boots didn't have any gription.

One leg went one way and the other leg stayed put.

It's supposed to warm up a bit over the next few days. Finally something above freezing would be nice.

Oooooooo dear Jenn, you didn't hurt yourself did you?

I hope you didn't end up doing the splits. When we were at school, we had this one PE teacher and if you fell over at hockey or whatever, she'd come running over shouting "you haven't split your tuppence have you?" Sooooooo embarrasing.

We have been having more snow whilst it's been thawing a bit. Now it's colder and black ice is the trouble but we are due more snow big time Monday.

At least I have my groovy Skull and crossbones wellies ^_^

I didn't get hurt or split my tuppence. It did, however, get my heart rate up quite a bit as I contemplated the scenario of me going down head first in front of the neighbors with my bits showing.

I shall now and forever after look outside before I choose my shoes to make sure I'm wearing the weather-correct style.

My wellies aren't as fancy as yours. They just have stripes.

We're supposed to warm up a bit for the next few days before we get more snow and ice. I just look forward to the sunshine and snow melting. It's been too cold for anything to melt and I'm already tired of the dirty white the mounds have become.

LMFAO I have a great picture in mind now hahaha!

Yes, suitable shoes. Boring but safe.

All our snow and ice has gone now but the forecasters have just said heavy snow for Weds so we shall see. I've not put away my wellies just yet.

So you're moving to London. Wow, you're braver than me Miss T. I could never live in a big city, I'd miss seeing the mountains every morning. This morning I saw some newborn lambs in the fields. I'd miss things like that you know. Oh and I'd miss my family of course! Good god Welshie get your priorities right; mountains, lambs, family. Hahaha. Anyway I wish you the best of luck in your new job.

Congrats MissT - I knew you could do it.

Now maybe before you move you could arrest your neighbor for disorderly conduct and terroristic acts with the radio.

Did you get that snow they were predicting for you yet? I think we have a storm brewing for Friday.

Oh yippee. I can't wait. :)

This is for the Welshie (thanks for the space Officer Tot):

I've never met a Welshie before, so I have no preconceived notions. You're my first.

There are a lot of small towns in my area that had been settled by the Welsh way back when. We can always tell when there's a tourist amongst us when they can't pronounce Cynwyd correctly. I guess we're mean because we don't let them know they're saying it wrong and just giggle.

Get a blog so people can visit you. :)

My family tends to have bagpipes at funerals. They sound lovely if done right. Otherwise they sound like a sick animal.

Aw thanks so much TJ sweetie. Someone fomr the Met phoned me today to say that she was looking forward to meeting me on the first day and she said that the standard process does take a year. Blimey, it just went on and on hahaha!

Now you gotta get you dream job. I have a feeling this is your year sweetie.

LOL Welshie, you never fail to make me smile. I already have the inflatable bed ready for mum and sis visiting me, and I'll be home as much as I can.

I know what you mean about the mountains and the lambs. When I was at Uni in Liverpool, I used to make the journey home across the penines most weekends. I loved the mountains, especially in the snow when they looked just like a giant chocolate vienetta ice cream. And seeing the little lambs in the fields. Made me heart smile, just like you do.

LOL Jenn, thanks sweetie. I wish I could arrest him. Maybe when I get the uniform.

Our really bad weather is predicted for later tonight so we shall see.

Have you got your son ready for snow shovelling duties?

PS, I think bagpipes are an accuired taste. I think the huge amounts of whiskey drinking that goes on at events where they are used probably helps.
