A new year, a new start

So, I've made the big decision and I'm moving back to Sheffield in February.

I've been treading water here and never have any money to do anything so why am I so far away from family and friends.

If I go home I can take a lesser paid job and be better off so that's what I'll do.

I do feel better for making the leap.

Congrats on making the decision. I hope your move makes you happy. And I hope it doesn't snow on the day you move!

I think that cake (especially if it were made of chocolate - or rum) should help any hormonal issue! :)

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm going to visit the dr soon and ask about homeopathic options.

Miss T,

All the best wishes for moving back home. And I hope you're feeling better and that your kicked the stupid flu away, at least for a while, heh.

Take care and much hugs to you!

Thanks Jenn sweetie, now I've made the decision I'm really excited at a new start.

Good luck with the Dr, if he doesn't help, I'll get mum to look up her cake info and tell you the ingredients so you can look out for something similar.

Aw thanks BC sweetie, I'm so glad I got rid of the flu. My mum who caught it before me is still coughing away.

Big hugs back to you sweetie.

Thanks for the congratulations, Miss T. It's great to be blogging again, that's for sure.

I'm glad you're feeling better. I hope your mom gets better as well.

Take care, and I hope you have a great weekend!

I guess once you make the decisition to do whatever you want to do, the hard part is over. Especially when now you feel good about it.

I was a mess this weekend. I got garlicked and was hormonal. I also came up with this theory that Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde was really written about a woman who was experiencing menopause. They changed the names to protect the innocent!

I'm thinking that I'll start the web search on homeopathic options for this nightmare. Last night I woke up with my jammies and pillow stuck to my body. All I could say was WTF?!?!?

Enough about me - when is your move?

LOL Jenn, that could be true. Good luck with the homeopathic search. I totally sympathise with the hot flushes. Even though I was mainly over my flu and back at work, this last week I've been getting the hot flushes you get when you are ill. I keep joking with people whether or not a bad case of flu can bring on early menopause. I didn't like it.

I have given in to downloading music. It still freaks me out about not having someTHING to hold in my hands (besides my Ipod).

Glad you're feeling better. The flu just isn't any fun. There are people here hacking their brains out. I'm trying to avoid getting sick by erecting a lysol-wipe tent over my desk.

So far it's working!

How's by you?

I'm good thanks Jenn, just busy with the move. So much to arrange. Just glad that Mum and Sis are coming down to help.

Going out for my last meal with my friend from downstairs tomorrow. She too is moving from these flats but just round the corner. She now has an extra bedroom and has invited me for visits. She is Latvian and they like to entertain people.

How are you sweetie? Did you manage to keep that flu at bay?

Good for you and your move.

I detest moving. Maybe because I'm married to a pack rat? We have a ton of stuff - not all of it is his, but a majority is - that we could toss. But won't.

I did manage to keep the flu at bay. Probably all the vitamins I've been shoving down my throat.

As for the snow? I'm just tired of snowstorms every 4 days. We just had one yesterday and today the roads are all still crapped up.

Another storm is heading my way for Saturday and then ANOTHER storm on Tuesday.

Where's this early spring thing because it's sure as Hell not here.

I jinxed myself.

I don't have the flu, but a head cold that is just starting to make me feel crappy.

I think I'll spend the weekend in bed watching Doris Day.

Hope you are doing well.

Hiya Jenn,

I hope you are feeling better? I don't envy you the snow storms, snow is no good once xmas is over.

We are having big winds here. Though I do like the sound of the wind outside when I'm snuggy warm inside.
