Just got back from my holiday. The beach was wonderul. The water was beautiful. The food was amazing.
It seemed to go way too quickly for me. I guess I'll have to do it again!

Ooooooooooooo a holiday, I could do with one of those. A couple of days away just isn't the same.
Going on another holiday next week. This one will be a "staycation." In a way, I look forward to doing nothing. I can only hope that it's not hotter than hell. I might even read a book.
The news has been interesting on your side of the world. You must be relieved to not be a part of the riots. I hope none of your friends got hurt in the clashes.

Thanks PP and Jenn, and you are both right, I am very relieved to be away from London. They have been rioting in other cities but thankfully not in Sheffield.
Luckily my fellow PCSO's won't be in the action either cos all this falls to the riot trained police.

I did nothing last week. At first I felt guilty about doing nothing, and then came to the realization that I deserve to do nothing if that's what I want to do. I work hard. I should take a break.
It took me 4 days to unwind and then it was all good.

Hello Missy. =) Thought of you last week, when we went to Melbourne to see a very cool Egyptian exhibition. Completely blown away by being able to look at a chair young Tutenkhamun sat in, and a crook and flail! The craftsmanship of every item was just remarkable. I wonder whether it was the same touring exhibition you went to? =)
I would hire a hitman except that if you take out one knucklehead, there's always one waiting in the wings.
I think I'm going to have to fake my own death to get a vacation day, and then show up all of a sudden like those characters do in soap operas.

Hiya PP, that sounds great, I think it is the same one I went to. Did it have all the furniture like beds etc? It is quite amazing to look at the seat Tut sat in as it's all quite small, it really hits home that he was a small child when he took the throne. Amazing, I love it all.
LOL Jenn, that's so funny cos I've been watching a few episodes of Poirot where they did that, faked their death to see the look on the would be killer's face when they appeared.
