Back to work

You know, I could totally be a lady of leisure. *wistfully dreams*

I could totally retire.

Except for the money part.

I need loads more money to retire.

I don't need an insane amount. I just need enough so that I don't ever have to work again and not worry about it.

ps - I still get a giggle out of the fact that the traffic light made the paper and everything. The village is so small and so back-woods that you can really get lost on a back road which leads to nowhere but dirt and banjos.

LOL the story made the paper. Wow, it must have been a quiet news day.

Our local news can be a bit like that. It's the joy of living in a small village.

Of course it was a top new story.

There are only so many times you can report on Mrs. O'Learys tipped over cows and the pie contest.

How often does a small village get a traffic light?

About one a century. It was HUGE!

LOL it was HUGE!

I'm still laughing. Beats the time that our local paper reported that during the windy weather, a lady had some leaves blown onto her car. I kid you not.

Glad you got all warm and snuggly.

a lady had some leaves blown onto her car

That's too funny! But if you really think about it, it's nice that there are still some places to live in this world where there's so little local news that they are grasping at straws. I'd rather read about leaves on a car than a murder.

I guess, but at least we could have a rogue squirrel on the lose or something.

Sometimes we get reports about rabid foxes. :)
