Ooooo! A wedding! :D Has she set a date yet?

Hiya RW, I'm glad that you are enjoying yourself.

It would be good to find someone to share a car with, It's always good to come home even if you've been on the best holiday of your life.

That's so true. There's no place quite like home. I'm going back for a short visit (two days) in two weeks, then at Easter I will be back for the long weekend.

No date set at the mo but they have mentioned August next year. She wants to be warm on her big day LOL.

I don't blame her!

I'm so happy for your sister and family. It can be such a fun time for everybody.

My brother got married 2 years ago. It was an intimate affair with just their close family and friends. It was one of the best weddings I ever attended. It was just so relaxed and fun.

My email went haywire last week. We had to update something and when we clicked that little button all my emails came back from July and then deleted themselves. Because Willie and I share a mailbox system, his emails got toasted too. So, sorry on the delay. I'm re-building my directory.

I did break down and reach out to my crazy friend. (Before the email "incident"). She prefers that mode of contact she says. Not sure why, except maybe that she's aware of when she's completely around the bend compared to being in her right mind and prefers to communicate when her timing is right.

Still makes me nervous. I didn't answer her for nearly 2 weeks and she started to text me about getting an answer. So I did and now I haven't heard from her in 2 weeks. I'm almost afraid she's just going to stop by or something.

Ah well. What can you do?

Ooooooooooo so sorry to hear about the email saga. I hate when technology fails, drives me crazy so I totally sympathise. Honestly, mum could tell you how crazy I get when technology doesn't do what I want it to, though maybe not as crazy as your friend.

I hope that she keeps the contact to emails or texts for your sake, you can't escape if she pops round. I suppose you could close the curtains and pretend you are not in but she sounds crazy enough to sit on your doorstep for hours.

The only blessing I have is that she does not drive. There is no public transportation near my home and from what I gather, she doesn't have friends who drive.

So, it would be a long walk in the dark woods to get to my house and she's a bit too "city" to do that on her own.

But if that weren't the case, I know she'd camp out on the doorstep!

MissTottenham said...

Thank goodness for that. Although maybe one day she'd actually be mad enough to do it *gulp*

Just turn out the lights and pretend you are not in hee hee!

I hope you are still managing to get home regularly sweetie.

I am home this weekend :) And I will be home next weekend too, as it is a long weekend. I have a co-worker who has a car & also lives in Toronto and comes back here regularly, so we carpool it with a couple other girls. Much cheaper than the train ($10 each in gas as compared to $70 each for the train) and more convenient.

Thanks for the birthday wishes Jenn sweetie xxxxxxx

RW, that's great news. $10 for gas is much better. Are trains overpriced in Canada too? I never get the train here, always take the coach if I have to travel long distance cos train is unaffordable.

Trains can be expensive here, especially if you're just travelling between smaller cities. But there isn't a bus between Stratford and Toronto, so it's either train or car.

I'm back home this weekend, and it finally feels like spring - huzzah! I may even get an ice cream! How is it where you are?

MissTottenham said...

It's still cold here but at least it's stopped snowing.

Can't wait for our usual two days of summer LOL.

resurrected wreck said...

Two days! We get a bit more than that here. Actually, I've found the past two summers in Toronto to be too hot and too long. But after the winter we've just had I can't wait for summer weather! At least all the ice and most of the snow has melted. We just have a month of rain to go through now.

MissTottenham said...

Too hot for too long. I can't ever imagine how that would feel.

resurrected wreck said...

Does it not get hot in the UK?

MissTottenham said...

LOL for about two days in the summer.

resurrected wreck said...

Right now I'd be content with above zero temperatures. It snowed in Stratford last night. Thankfully I am in Toronto this weekend (no snow here).

MissTottenham said...

Wow, still with the snow. At least we've stopped with that now although they do say we will be covered in frost Sunday.

It'll be nice to be able to turn the heating off.

We had a flash blizzard in Stratford two days ago (luckily, none of the snow stuck). Today I'm in Toronto and it's sunny and hot, almost summer weather. I think we've skipped spring altogether!

I guess I can put my electric blanket away any time, but the cats love napping on it.

Jennicula said...

I still have flannel sheets on my bed. We still have frost warnings at night, so I'm not ready to give up the fuzz.

Hi guys, I was watching the news yesterday and it was reporting about a big snowstorm in the US. I was quite surprised cos we have finally turned the corner into spring here. They say we will have the dryest May on record, Hmmmmmmm we'll see.

resurrected wreck said...

We've had two scorching hot days too. That'll prob be our summer for this year LOL. I joke but these last couple of years it's felt that a couple of days is all we got what with all the flooding and rain.

That sucks :( Last couple of summers over here it's gotten WAY too hot for my liking. And this year it's only early May and feels like mid-summer already. I can only imagine how August will feel! O_o

My landlady's cats will mourn when I put the electric blanket away for the season.

MissTottenham said...

LOL maybe you should have a little ceremony to help the cats come to terms with it.
