Removing the name makes it truly permanent. Even though I know there's not a damn thing I can do to change anything.
I'm glad you haven't removed your dad's name either.
Let's never remove the names.
I must admit that I've had a friend that passed away and when I got my new phone, I didn't put her number in the contact list. But Mum and Dad's number would obviously be the same, so his name stays on.
