I can't believe that the holidays are breathing down my neck already.
We've had snow and sleet this week and it's not been above freezing since Monday. WTF?
I'm so not ready for the end of the year.
I hope you haven't had snow like in New York, that looks well scary.

We did not get snow like NY - thankfully! We got a bit to make the roads sloppy, but that was about it.
My Aunt Mary used to live up in that New York area. They get what is called "lake effect" snow. I believe it's when the warm air stream comes off the lake (blowing towards land) and meets up with the cold land? It could be vice-versa as far as I know. All I really know is that they get a ton of snow all winter long. It snows there nearly every day - and then it really snows.
One winter my dad got stuck at her place for 3 weeks because it kept snowing and he had to keep climbing up on her roof to shovel the snow off so the weight of the snow didn't cave in her roof.
She now lives down by us. Not so much snow.

Wowweee 3 weeks???? That's a long time to be stranded anywhere.
We are gonna put up the decorations tomorrow. They say we might actually have a white xmas day, I hope so.
How did the decorations turn out?
I think we're getting a tree this weekend and probably do the decorating then. We did do our cards yesterday. I'll try to get willie to email it to me and I'll forward to you :) It came out good.
We're in the middle of a "Nor'Easter" today and tomorrow. Kinda like a winter hurricane that usually brings more snow than rain. Fortunately it's raining instead of snowing, but it is raining sideways.
Decorating didn't go well at all. The tree's stand broke and we had to go buy another. It's standing in the corner all bare till we can be arsed to decorate it this weekend.
I'd love to see the card. Is it a picture of all you guys in naff jumpers?
