The weather has been nuts here. We were roaming around on Saturday in short sleeves and there was still snow on the ground. Today we have torrential rain and thunder storms. Rain is good for making everything green, but bad for a drive to work.
I hope you had a wonderful birthday.
Little madam seems to like to share. Maybe you can teach her to hold on to the colds and share the chocolate!
You really cannot go wrong with pizza. I'm having some myself today and it's yummy!
Crazy weather eh?
Ours has been a bit warmer and a lot sunnier. Some people have been wearing short sleeve summer dresses but some people don't trust it and are still in scarves and woolly hats.
LOL she shares her snot freely but there's no chance of getting her choccies hahah!
I hope you enjoyed your pizza. Apart from having cold, I did enjoy my Birthday. It would have been nice to get out to the pizza hut restaurant but it was just as nice to have it delivered.
It has been crazy weather wise. This week its like early summer. Which I love. Bare feet, shorts, open windows. I love it all. Who knows what next week will be like. Probably will snow one more time.
Good girl that Amelie being a good sharer. No choccies though. You'll have to work on that.
I always enjoy my pizza. Maybe not as much as you, but I do enjoy it. Last week we had a Hawaiian pizza (bacon and pineapple - yum!). Delivery is good and that's how we got it from there to here.
I have dreams of all the different homes I've lived in. Sometimes I see them through a child's eye and other times in present day. Would I want to buy any of them? Maybe one or two.
We've had company for the last 5 days and oddly enough they have been dealing with boxing up their childhood home to get it ready to sell.
It's been hard. Dad died last year and Mum has medical issues and can't live at home. Willie and I have been helping them go through things but it's not our home, not our childhood, not our lives. We try to be sensitive to their needs and feelings but it's hard. Lots of rawness going on. My girlfriend is one of the toughest people I know and is not a crier and she needed a big hug and lots of tissues at one point.
Last night was literally the last day they had in the house. It's all done. All packed up. All cleaned up. My girlfriend said she felt a weight lifted off her shoulders when she drove away. We toasted to a job well done and to actually being DONE - but it was with sadness because it's taken so long to get to this point and not everybody who started on the journey was welcome to join us in celebration.
Ah, family. What can ya do?
I think if I win the lottery I'm going to buy a villa in Italy and live out my life there making wine and eating cheese.
Lucky you, I'd like some days like summer, send some over here. They say we might have snow next week, I thought it was spring. Hurry up sunshine. So much for global warming LOL.
That must be quite sad, packing up the childhood home. Luckily I still live in my second childhood home which is just round the corner from my first childhood home. Happy memories.
I'm sending my thoughts to your friend. I'm not surprised she needs hugs. Give her a huge one and tell her people are thinking of her.
I'm loving your lottery wish. You live in Italy and I'll be next door in Spain if I win.
