Hey sweetie. Sorry for my silly question last night (the one about the spelling of your name). I could have just looked in my email instead of sounding like an idiot. Oh well, there was a lot going on and I am an idiot, so it's all good, right?
Also, I finally looked at those pictures (the ones I couldn't see because of my photobucket problem at home). I see what everyone was talking about. It looks like someone today, on that girl's blog, admited to throwing it on stage. I'm not sure if Kapunua saw it or not. I'll ask her later.
Well, gotta run. Talk to you later! And thanks again for hanging out with me during the really nervous part last night. It was so much easier having someone there.
Love your cowardly friend,
Anima (Shannnon)

MissT, I finally found the quote I was searching for. It is not exactly as I recalled it, but all I know is that when I read it, I felt this overwhelming sense of peace regarding my brother's death.
Here it is:
Seneca's (4 B.C.-65 A.D.) quote:
"Death is the release from all pain and complete cessation, beyond which our suffering will not extend. It will return us to that condition of tranquility, which we had enjoyed before we were born. Should anyone mourn the deceased, then he must also mourn the unborn. Death is neither good nor evil, for good or evil can only be something that actually exists. However, whatever is of itself nothing and which transforms everything else into nothing will not all be able to put us at the mercy of Fate."
Thinking about my brother returning to the tranquility of 'life' before birth just really made me happy for him. I am not much of a 'heaven' or 'hell' believer, so this just made a lot of sense to me.
Love,
Anima (Shannon)
(sorry about posting this on J's Birthday blog)
Shannon, those words are beautiful. Thank you so much for going to the trouble of posting them. They are very inspiring.
Luv Caz xxx
