Week 48

First, I would like to say happy thanksgiving to all you Yanks. Have a great day tomorrow, whatever you are doing.

So, I applied for a job as a PCSO back in July. I hadn't heard anything so presumed I hadn't been successful. The other day, I got a phone call and my paperwork in the post. I have an interview. I also have to go to an open day so that I can practise the role play and written exercises that I will have to do at the interview.

I have rung my benefits advisor and luckily I will be able to have the travel paid for as it is in London.

The interview is called day 1 assessment. I have a feeling the interview process will take place over many days. Day 1 sounds to me like day 1 of many (gulp).

I have to go to the police training centre in Hendon (gulp again).

Yup, I am nervous.

Week 47

GERMANY 1 ENGLAND 2

Yahyah, it's the first time since 1973 that we've beat them in Berlin.

I've had my visits from the council. The neighbour has been quiet this week. I'm sure he's been told that we are having the recording box again and he's been nosying at the council people coming and going and that he thinks we have it in right now. Nope.

I hope we catch him when we do have it in.

Week 46

Well, this week has been great being able to breathe again and not kill myself with coughing fits.

It's been a bad week with the neighbour and his music. he really has been blasting it at all hours. Just this morning he decided to put it on at 4:30am.

The council have told us we can only have the recording box in one more time as we've had it three times already. You are only supposed to have it three times. they figure if you haven't caught any noise by then, it can't be bad enough. The problem for us is he spies when it is delivered and of course he is then silent all week also, the council have to tell him it is being put in, they don't tell him when, just that it's soon. I think this is unfair and he shouldn't get warning to be on his best behaviour.

We caught a lot of loud noise on the second occasion but it was only on the one day and they say they need multiple examples. We just can't win.

If we don't get anything this time, we will have to resort to calling out the wardens to witness his loud music. But they only work office hours and he blasts his in the early hours and evening. The police won't come out, they call it a domestic and they don't deal with those. So we just have to go without sleep and suffer.

Over the years, many people have offered to hurt him for us. It's looking like soon we will have to take someone up on that offer before I crack completely and lose my marbles.

I know it's bad, but I wish him dead every day.

Week 45

Yayness, I'm actually feeling better. It's only been two bloody weeks with flu, bluergh!

Yayness for Spurs, I love you Harry Redknapp.

Boo to Lewis, you didn't deserve to win. Poor Massa was robbed.

Yayness to getting a phone call to say that my request for funds to do the teaching course has been OK'd. It'll prob not be till early nest year when I get to do it but at least the ball is in motion.
